I'm responding to the concerns regarding Arbonne requesting ss#.
First of all, if all you want to do is buy product, you do not give any info other than your name and address to have the product delivered to you either by mail (UPS) or in person.
Secondly, if you are signing up as a consultant, you are signing up as an employee of the company to earn money and compensation (35% employee discount).
It is illegal to take on any job in the U.S. and not give your ss# for tax purposes. If a company hiring you does not require you to give your ss#, I would question the ethics of that company.
I just signed on as a new employee (consultant) for Arbonne and feel the company has treated me professionally and has provided me an opportunity to inform others about the truth of skin care. I've also done independent research to confirm what their information. The scientific research is out there for all to see that Arbonne is accurate and provides superior products.
Most people don't realize what damage they are doing to themselves by putting mineral oil and products containing petroleum all over their skin.
Ask any Arbonne consultant and he/she should be informative and helpful on your quest for good skincare as well as reasons why your info is needed. If they are not able to answer your questions, find a new consultant for superior service to match their products.
Or contact me, I'd love to help,
Susan Wolz Arbonne Consultant
