They're trying to scam me.

I ordered an item by mistake from them on ebay and returned it on my dime, the item was delivered back to them and they won't refund me, instead they are requesting for me to "cancel" the order, which would mean that they don't have to send me a refund and the return case would be closed. Why don't they just refund me already? eBay says to only accept the cancellation request if I have already received a refund. So they are trying to scam me and get out of having o refund me. smh.
