I always ASSUMED that Don Coss was going to be expensive because they just seemed to be such a reputable business.
I used to deliver all over town and it seemed I saw their nice trucks around OFTEN (around new construction sites? or in the nicest of neighborhoods...???) or somewhere or somehow just always left me with a good impression in mind.
......(What is/was that anyway????)
It is a GOOD thing that I called them for a quote on a new furnace!!! I had half a dozen other contractors over because I was TRYING!!!! to catch a competitive edge in the "$1500.00" standard price for the lowest you can get a new furnace, especially in today's economy- you'd think these guys would have been tripping over each other to outbid for a job.
They were THE ONLY ONE that offered a BETTER warranty than all the others AND the only contractor that walked around my house and checked out my ductwork instead of just measuring my furnace and offering me a quote.
Jimmy, the gentleman they sent to give me an estimate seemed to be the only contractor sharp enough to cut me a competitive edge... or maybe Don Coss is just like that anyway.
They even did some additional things that showed their professionalism and care (that no one else bidding mentioned) without charging additional- Now that's SMART!!!
In other words, they stood out because all the others wanted to just install a furnace and get their $1500- or charge additional for anything more. Jimmy (representing Don Coss Services, Inc.) made this company stand head and shoulders above ALL the others!!!
They just got another customer for life that is going to be a word of mouth referral-- how much is that worth??? Less than the price of advertising, I KNOW that!!!
Don Coss seems to be a GOOD company and the guys that represent them are real respectful and professional too. I will use them again, they were referred to me by a friend who had them do her new furnace a few years back.
