This is an awesome diet plan....I started 6/12/07 as a 300lb couch potato. Today I weigh 230 lbs, and am classified as active due to 30-50 minutes of exercise every day. I eat real food. My doctor asked for the diet. My husband is a type II diabetic and has normal blood sugars due to the diet. I have followed the food plans as listed. I am far healthier than at 300 lbs. I have to tell you honestly that the folks posting complaints on this site took their diet into their own hands and listened to peers on the website., They cut calories to 150 per day and that is not what is reccommmended. There is remarkable support. The bottom line to any diet is each person is responsible for their own decisions and choices.
